DTC’s GT-R (Give To-Research)
Virtual rebuild:
We need your help!
Friday, November 6th, would have been the 31st birthday of our founder, Andrew Lee. By now Andrew might have been in grad school, he might have been married, he might have been a father. But we KNOW he would have been passionate about Driven To Cure and his prized Nissan GT-R.
For this reason, we are launching a campaign on his birthday to fund cutting-edge research with our partners at the National Institutes of Health & UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. We hope you will make a donation today.
Let’s get one thing clear: There is nothing wrong with the actual Driven To Cure Nissan GT-R.
It’s still cruising the nation and raising awareness for rare-kidney cancers in the car community. But to celebrate this exceptional car we have created a special end-of-year fundraiser highlighting all of the GT-R’s custom pieces — from the unique “DTC Orange” paint job to the ‘F CANCR’ license plate.
We are launching this campaign on Friday, November 6th, on what would have been Andrew’s 31st birthday.
Here’s how it works: We have set a fundraising amount for each customized part of the GT-R as redesigned by Andrew. You can view all of these parts in the table below and by making a donation of any amount you will help us fund each part for the GT-R and hit our fundraising goal of $15,000.
You can help fund a car part with a donation of any amount, meaning you could contribute $1 or fund the whole part. All donations will contribute to the campaign total, and 100% of proceeds will go to rare-kidney cancer research.
We hope you will make a contribution below today to fund this important work.
